I was lucky to take part in a day long lampshade making workshop with Lydia and a small group of fellow makers. It seemed quite daunting at first, but by using stamps from Lydia’s vast and glorious collection - including many Indian Block stamps, as well as the phenomenal Lino stamps, designed and hand cut by Lydia - everyone succeeding in creating unique and beautiful lamp shades. Lydia’s instruction was clear and instilled us makers with confidence. The lampshades we made are very professional and of course, completely individual. A really lovely day, new friends made and leaving with some beautiful home decor and a fantastic sense of achievement.
